MALLARD VIEW OUTDOORS ICE EATERS

In my opinion, there is a MUST to consistently kill late season ducks and geese. You have to give them the ability to eat and rest. Without open water, i.e. rivers, reservoirs, large lakes, you have zero chance. What if there is not a river system within 30 miles of your hunting ground or leases? What if all of the lakes, ponds, man made gravel pits, reservoirs are frozen over? This is where our new partner comes into the picture. Josh and Michelle at Mallard View Outdoors have developed the best and the strongest ICE EATER on the market today. We were able to use their units on three of our ponds this January and December in Northern Colorado and they did the trick for sure. As you can see in the photos below, they were a magnet for the geese. We were able to hold Canada Geese all the way through the end of the season on February 14th thanks to this awesome product by MVO. What started as a little man mad hole in these photos turned into this large area of open water that gave these geese the feeling that they had all they needed to stay in the area. We consistently harvested birds form these three roosts everyday as we guided groups from all over the country. It is a great feeling to an outfitter and to a film crew when we can be assured that there Are geese in the area. A lot of the geese in this area had to move 35 miles to the East of us to the Platte River. We do have leases in that area but we still were able to hunt our land in the flight paths of these roost ponds. I don’t know what else to say about the product line of ICE EATERS and accessories built by Mallard View Outdoors. They are a true savior for the serious waterfowl hunter who needs to keep the birds around for an extended period of time. There are other applications for these Ice Eaters as well. If you see cold temps in the forecast, get power to your roost and get one of these units in it. You will not have to worry about the flocks bypassing it on their way to open water. Please check your state wildlife hunting regulations to see what the laws are in you area of hunting with the Ice Eaters in your ponds if you choose to hunt the water.
